This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client needed to update the URL base for Category links in the header from 'products' to 'product-category' and was unsure where to find the header definition in their layout. Solution: 1. We recommended updating the product's slug in the WordPress settings by navigating to Settings -> Permalinks. 2. After updating the slug, the next step involved translating it via WPML by going to WPML -> String Translation. 3. Additionally, to address the header strings and URLs, we advised navigating to String Translation and translating the necessary header strings and URLs.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
1) If you are asking about the default language's slug, please go to Settings-> Permalinks and check the category slug.
If you want to change the URL in the header menu, you might find it in Appearance-> Widgets.
Please let me know if the above answers your question. If not, please share screenshots of the header in the dashboard and what you want to change.
2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?
You can read a detailed explanation about it here. (http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support)
The debug info will give me a lot of information about how your site is configured.
Hiii, Osama. I did what you told me. And I find my header URL change in the Woomart Header. But after i change it. They are always mess up from Brazilian page to English page and Arabic page. Still need your assistant. Thank you ~
I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
I'm working from Sun to Thu, 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM (GMT+3). If you are not around during this time, please share a copy of your site and I'll check the issue locally and let you know my findings.
In order to share a copy of the site, We usually recommend the free Plugin “Duplicator” for this porpoise.
If you already know how Duplicator works. (http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/),
Please skip the following steps and send me the installer file and the zip package you downloaded.
★ Duplicator Instructions (hidden link)
Send me both files (you probably want to use DropBox, Google Drive, or similar services, as the snapshot file will be quite big)
I will enable your next answer as private, so you can provide me with the information securely.
