This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to preview certificates in different languages using WPML, but the preview shows a blank page. The known fix does not resolve your issue.
Solution:
We recommend adding the necessary code to the

functions.php

file of your theme. To ensure that this modification persists through updates, consider creating a child theme or using a snippets plugin to manage the code. This approach prevents the need to reinsert the modification after each update.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it becomes outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues persist, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to preview certificates in different languages using WPML, but the preview just shows a blank page. This is a known issue as per the link: https://wpml.org/errata/learndash-lms-certificate-preview-is-missing-in-the-editors-visual-tab/. The fix provided doesn't seem to work for me.

Symptoms:
The preview of translated certificates shows a blank page instead of the expected content.

Questions:
Why does the certificate preview show a blank page in different languages?
Why doesn't the provided fix work for my issue?

I reuploaded the background images of the certificates and it seems fine now. The problem is this is a manual patch. How can I protect against losing this when I update?

The only way to make this code persistent, is to rewrite it, so it can be added to the functions.php file. After that, you can create a child theme or add with a snippets plugin.

Otherwise you'll need to reinsert the modification after updates.
