Background of the issue:
I have encountered the following issues while using WPML on my site hidden link. I am trying to manage and edit translated content.

Symptoms:
1. After selecting the content and adding it to the worklist, it shows 'cannot load translation queue' and the worklist is not shown. I am unable to edit the translation. 2. The language switch button at the bottom of my webpage is gone and I am unable to call it out.

Questions:
Why is the translation queue not loading and the worklist not showing?
How can I restore the language switch button on my webpage?

Hello There,
I hope you're doing well.

As you were disconnected from the chat, I had to convert the conversation into a ticket.

Based on the issue you reported, I shared some suggestions in the chat. I'm including them for you below in case if you have missed them:

1) Translation Queue Issue:
- Please set your profile as a translator and check if you still encounter the issue. You can refer to the following guide to understand the process: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-admin-capabilities/#add-translator

2) Language Switcher Issue:
- Please check the following guide to ensure that the Footer language switcher is enabled: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-switcher-options/

For your information, the language flag appears only if translations are available in the respective languages.

Please check and let me know how it goes. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
