Background of the issue:
I created a CPT named "activity" to which I assigned two taxonomies: "type" and "package", which will also be used on other CPTs we’ll create later. The CPT and taxonomies are set to Translatable. I tried adjusting the settings in WPML’s debug section and also added a wpml-config.xml file.
Symptoms:
When I create an "activity" post in the default language and then create its translated version, the taxonomy terms do not sync.
Questions:
Do you have any idea what might be causing this issue?
I can see the custom taxonomies are set as "translatable or fallback to default language", are they indeed translated? Can you please provide some screenshots so we can better understand the issue?

Yes, I changed that setting to test it, because using "Translatable" only wasn’t working.
So, I created a CPT called Activity, and two taxonomies: Packages and Types.
For now, I only translated the Packages taxonomy to test.
If I create an activity in French and check the taxonomy Activité encadrée, when I then create the English version using Add translation in English, the taxonomy is not carried over (Supervised activity).
I read on some forums that it's necessary to manually synchronize taxonomies with a CPT, but I couldn’t find that option in the WPML interface.

Please try the following: Enable copy‑rule and run the sync tool
• Set WPML → Settings → Posts and pages synchronization → Copy taxonomy to translations to enabled.
• Go to WPML → Support → Troubleshooting.
• In the dropdown, choose Activity and click Synchronize post taxonomies.
• Edit one French Activity, click Update, then open its English translation: Supervised activity should now be selected.
