This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to activate automatic translation with WPML because the plugin continuously shows a 'Loading elements' message and errors related to connectivity issues.
Solution:
First, we recommend checking if the issue was a temporary connectivity problem. If the problem persists, it's important to note that the client is using Divi 5, which is not fully compatible with their version of WPML. We advise installing the latest versions of WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation, which include compatibility updates for Divi 5. Always ensure to back up the entire site, including the database, before updating.

If the issue was related to our translation server, it should no longer occur as our ATE team has identified it as a temporary server issue.

If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hello,

Could it be that this was a temporary connectivity or is the issue persisting?

Note:
You are using the latest beta for Divi 5, but this theme is not yet fully compatible with your version of WPML.

I suggest you install the latest beta plugins of WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation, which include compatibility code for Divi 5.

How to install WPML beta versions:
https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-install-beta-and-development-versions-of-wpml/

Always make sure to take a backup, including the database, before running updates.

Let me know if further assistance will be needed.

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

I haven't received a response in five days, which is why I wanted to follow up to see if everything is alright at your end.

According to our ATE team, it's very likely that the problem you described was caused by a temporary issue on our translation server.

The problem should no longer occur. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Best regards,
Andreas
