Background of the issue:
I am assisting a client with setting up WPML on their WordPress site: hidden link. I do not have access to the Plugins section of the WordPress admin dashboard, and the person who does have access is not familiar with the process. The site currently has a trial version of WPML connected to it, and I am writing from a paid WPML account with 3 unused site slots.

Symptoms:
I received instructions in a previous support ticket that referenced a section of the plugin interface that does not seem to exist, making the process confusing.

Questions:
How can I unlink the site from the trial WPML account?
How can I connect the site to the paid WPML account I am currently using?

Hi,

Do you know which version of WPML they are using? Are they on the latest one?
Since there's no trial version of WPML, it should work regardless of whether the key is registered or not.

You can go to https://wpml.org/account/downloads/, download the latest versions, and ask them to replace their current ones (if they are indeed outdated).

After that, follow this process:

1. Ask them to go to `wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=commercial` and click **"Unregister WPML from this site."**
2. Log in to your WPML account and register the key for `hidden link`.
3. Ask them to click **"Register WPML"** and enter the new key.

Does it work?
