This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are trying to automatically translate pages using credits, specifically changing the page from English to Dutch, but are encountering issues. Solution: We recommend installing and activating the WPML String Translation plugin to enable translation capabilities with Elementor. For detailed guidance, please refer to our documentation on integrating Elementor with WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket with us at WPML support forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to automatically translate the pages using credits. The translation is supposed to change the page from English to Dutch. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link
When I click on "Edit translation" and go to edit translation page it shows the right translation of the right side. Why isn't it visible in the front-end?
Symptoms:
After the translation is done, the page remains in English instead of being in Dutch.
Questions:
Why are the pages not translating to Dutch?
How can I ensure the translation is applied correctly?
Please try the following steps and let us know your results;
- Edit the page in the default language
- Make a small change and update
- Access the translation and re-save it (make sure to be at 100% completion when reviewing the progress bar at the bottom of the page while in the Editor)
Thank you for assisting me with this issue. I’ve carefully followed your instructions, but unfortunately, the translation is still not visible on the front end. Here's what I did step by step:
1.Edited the homepage (hidden link) with Elementor. I made a small change by adding a period to the sentence:
"Your trusted real estate agent for buying, selling, and renting properties."
This updated the sentence to:
"Your trusted real estate agent for buying, selling, and renting properties.."
I then saved and updated the page.
2.Navigated to the Dutch version of the page (hidden link) and accessed the WPML Translation Editor. I reviewed each text field, ensuring they were saved and marked as complete. After confirming all fields were at 100% completion, I finalized the translation by clicking "Complete Translation."
Despite this, the translated content is still not visible on the front end, even though credits were used for the translation.
Additional Observations:
If I manually edit the Dutch version of the page directly using Elementor and input the translations myself, the changes do appear correctly on the front end. However, this defeats the purpose of using WPML’s automatic translation, as it requires manual effort.
Could you please increase the WordPress memory limit (WP Memory Limit) to at least 256 MB? WPML requires at least 128M.
Your current values are:
PHP Memory Limit 512M
WP Memory Limit 40M
You need to connect to your website's server and open the wp-config.php file in a text editor. The file is located in the WordPress root directory.
Add this code to the wp-config.php file to increase WordPress memory:
define ('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
Add this just before this comment:
// That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging.
The current values can be viewed under WPML > Support > WordPress.
These settings can be restricted directly by your hosting provider. Therefore, I recommend contacting them and asking them to change them directly if the changes are not applied immediately.
Now, please edit the original content again, save it, and complete the translation on the WPML Translation Editor to 100%.
If this will not solve the issue, please let me know.
I've increased the memory limit and have done the same things again:
-Edit the page in the default language
- Make a small change and update
- Access the translation and re-save it
But it still seems buggy because it doesn't translate the page

Hi,
I would like to offer to take a closer look and request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the site to investigate the issue further.
The required fields are below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.
IMPORTANT
Please be sure to back up the site and database before granting us access.
If you can't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your post and site login details will be set to "PUBLIC". DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.
I may need to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" here to create a copy of the site that I can use to investigate the issue further.
However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server for this purpose.
If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Please note that WPML must also be registered on this staging site at https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/.
If you are not able to provide such a copy of the website for testing, please let me know on this ticket.
