Background of the issue:
I am working on a site under development and have added different slugs for product categories. I am trying to integrate these slugs into the menus.

Symptoms:
When I add the product category slugs into the menus, they revert to default slugs, and opening the link in the menu results in a 404 error.

Questions:
Why do the product category slugs revert to default when added to menus?
How can I fix the 404 error when opening links from the menu?

Hi,

Please try my suggestions: deactivate the Premium Addons for Elementor and the JetMenu plugin, then try adding a product category menu item. Does it work then?

Also, as I suggested, please try WPML's troubleshooting section and let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Itamar.
