This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client purchased WPML for their business directory website but found the requirement to create separate pages and directory types for each language complicated. They wanted to display the same listings in both Arabic and English without duplicating pages.
Solution:
We suggested using WPML's fallback setting to display the original content in all languages, which could be an ideal solution for their pages. For more details on this setting, please see the guide at Displaying Untranslated Content on Pages in Secondary Languages. Additionally, we mentioned the possibility of duplicating content using custom hooks for listings published in the backend or frontend, ensuring listings are available in all languages. We also offered assistance in setting this up.
If the client still wishes to proceed with a refund, they can request it within 30 days of purchase at WPML Refunds.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at WPML Known Issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I recently purchased WPML for my website (hidden link), which is a business directory using the Directorist and OneListing theme. I realized that WPML requires creating separate pages and directory types for each language, which complicates my setup. I only need to show the same listings in both Arabic and English without duplicating pages.

Symptoms:
WPML requires creating separate pages and directory types for each language, which complicates my setup.

Questions:
How can I request a refund according to the 30-day money-back guarantee?

Hello,

Refunds can be requested within 30 days after purchase of WPML here:

This said, you actually still have 30 days to use WPML, and I can assist you in finding solutions for the issues before asking for a refund.

For example, WPML has a fallback setting that will display the original content in all languages. This would be an ideal solution for pages:

Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/

You can further duplicate content, and we have custom hooks that you could apply for listing that are published in the backend or the frontend. This would create a duplicate of each listing once it is published. This way, listings will always be available in all languages, and you will be able to use filters and search. You might only need to translate the taxonomies of the listings.

I can assist you in setting this up.

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

Thank you for your detailed reply and for the suggested solutions.

However, after testing these options, I found that they do not fit my website’s structure or my requirements.
My goal is to have all listings and posts visible in both languages without creating duplicate pages or separate directories, but WPML’s setup makes this difficult to achieve in my case.

Therefore, I would like to proceed with a refund as WPML does not meet my project’s needs.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
