Background of the issue:
I am trying to manage product visibility on my site hidden link using WPML. I have set the original product to draft status.
Symptoms:
The original product is set to draft, but the translated version shows as published.
Questions:
Why is the translated product showing as published when the original is set to draft?
How can I ensure that the translated product status matches the original product status?
While you wait for my colleague to take over the ticket, let me try to help you with the issue quickly.
1) To publish the translation when the original post is published, go to WPML > Settings > Translated documents options > When you publish the original post: Publish the post translations.
2) To keep posts status in sync you can use next addon plugin:
- hidden link
Just copy the whole project in the "plugins" directory of your WordPress site, then activate the plugin from your website's Plugins page.
1-this is what is defined in my website
2- I installed the plugin in my dev site,
How it's supposed to work?
I update one product for test to draft, and I checked the translated product and it's still publish
