This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to set different translation editors for a specific custom post type and wants to use the WordPress editor by default to avoid popup warnings about potential data loss when switching editors.
Solution:
We recommend setting the WordPress editor as the default for the specific custom post type to prevent the popup warning. You can achieve this by following the steps outlined in our documentation on Using Different Translation Editors for Different Pages. Specifically, you need to select the WordPress editor for that post type as described in the second step of the guide.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to set different translation editors for a particular custom post type on my site hidden link. I want everyone who translates that custom post type to use the WordPress editor by default. I found an explanation in this article: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/. I also need to use the WordPress standard editor for page content that can't be translated with the Advanced Translation editor.

Symptoms:
I receive a popup warning: 'Edits you're about to make will be lost.... You're about to edit this translation using the standard WordPress editor... etc....'

Questions:
Could I somehow set different translations editors for particular custom post type?
Is there a chance that I by default don't get the popup with the warning about editing translations using the standard WordPress editor?

Hi,

It goes like this:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/#how-to-use-manual-translation

In the second step, you need to choose the WordPress editor for that post type. Only then will the message shown in your screenshot no longer appear.
