This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where a code ?v=796834e7a283 is being added to their domain URL and suspects it is related to WPML.

Solution:
The parameter ?v=XXXX in the URL is added by WooCommerce when the 'Default Customer Location' is set to 'Geolocate with page caching support'. To resolve this issue, the client should navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > General tab > Default customer location and change the setting. For further guidance, we recommend checking the WooCommerce documentation on configuring settings:

Tell us what you are trying to do?
Since a few days the code ?v=796834e7a283 is added to our domain. We have narrowed this problem down to WPML but we can't get rid of it.
Can you help us?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi there,
Thanks for contacting WPML support.

The ?v=XXXX part in your URL is added by WooCommerce and not related to WPML. It's added when you set the Default Customer Location to "Geolocate with page caching support".

This setting can be found in WooCommerce > Settings > General tab > Default customer location. Please check the following WooCommerce doc for more info: hidden link

Kind regards,
Mohamed
