Background of the issue:
I had a problem with a critical error on some pages. After uninstalling plugins one by one, I found that if WPML String Translation is not installed, all products work fine, but there are no translations for strings. Support previously provided code that fixed the problem, allowing all products to open. However, I didn't try updating any products at that time. I was happy that solution worked.
Now, when I update PRODUCTS or PAGES, I get a 404 error (doesn’t matter if created with Elementor or WordPress native editor) This issue affects the whole site, not just the previously affected products.
New products and those without gallery photos work correctly.
I have tried updating permalinks, clearing cache, disabling WPML, and switching themes, but the issue persists. The solution provided before solved one problem but created another. How to solve this 404 error and be able to update products and pages?

P.S. I still have the staging site, which WPML asked to make and problem is there as well.

Symptoms:
When I update PRODUCTS or PAGES, I get a 404 error. This issue affects the whole site.

Questions:
How to solve this 404 error and be able to update products and pages?

Hello,

If it's possible for you, do the following test:
I suggest you try this to help us identify if it might be a conflict with another plugin or theme that is causing the problem.
**IMPORTANT:** Please try this in a staging environment or at least with a backup of your site files and database before continuing.
Disable all plugins except Woocommerce and WPML-related, and temporarily change the theme to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twenty-five.
Is the issue resolved with these settings? If so, please reactivate one by one to see which conflicts.

Best Regards,
Otto

Hello, Otto!

Thanks! I deactivated all plugins and, when activated all one by one problem was magically solved! I didn't get back to You sooner, so that is not like last time - said that everything works and then it doesn't! Hope that that is it and everything will work again smoothly! 😉

Thanks a lot for Your time!

Have a nice day! 😉
