Video demostration hidden link
As you can see, the English version is working correctly; in the second language, the images have not been uploaded and are not showing.
Thanks for your reply. It looks like this "MediaPress" plugin is not compatible with WPML. I've tried adding the images in the backend here hidden link and the image won't upload. Please check with this plugin author and ask them to check why this is happening.
I would like to know if there is a way to completely disable the translation of the MediaPress library since the uploaded images come directly from users. Therefore, they should appear identically across all languages without the need for duplication or translation.
I’ve seen that other users in the forum have experienced similar issues, but honestly, I couldn’t clearly understand the recommended or definitive solution. The information seems a bit confusing and scattered.
Is there a way to exclude MediaPress from translation entirely? What would be the correct procedure to ensure that user-uploaded images are always available in all languages, without errors or duplication?
Please note that your issue cannot be compared to the one in that ticket, as the Website owner in that case did not use the MediaPress plugin, unlike your setup. I’ve reviewed the backend and confirmed that MediaPress has already been excluded from translation and the images are still not copied to the translated profiles. However, when I enable translation for MediaPress galleries, the same error occurs, as shown in the attached screenshot.
I recommend that you get in touch with the support team/developers of that plugin and ask them if the plugin is compatible with WPML.
If the plugin is not compatible, I'd recommend that they join our 'Go Global' program (https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/) where our Compatibility developers will help them make their product 100% compatible with WPML for free.
