Hi,
we have some problems regarding non www and trailing slash with the translated (child) domains:
I am trying to:
Open hidden link works.
Open seocon.de does not work.
Open hidden link does not work.
Open hidden link works.
Without www it redirects to the mother website seocon.at.
Without trailing slash it redirects to the mother website seocon.at.

Hi,
Thank you for contacting WPML Support.
I checked the links you sent me, and I noticed that both hidden link and hidden link take me to the same page: hidden link .
To fix the redirection of the non-www domain (seocon.de), I recommend checking out the solution provided in this ticket: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/second-language-www-domain-working-non-www-defaults-to-english-2/#post-6307283 .
If that doesn't work, please contact your hosting support team to make sure that your domains are configured correctly.
Note: Please make a full backup of your website before making any changes.
I hope this is helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Marsel

Hi - thx for your answer!
We tried this, but got some loops and the redirects are very slow.
The first 3 variants are not working. (Image).
Is there another way to redirect - maybe using cloudflare?
Thank you in advance!
Best,
Dominik

Hi Dominik,
I noticed from the image you sent that:
1) The domain hidden link looks like it have an issue with SSL certificate, as there are some redirect with and some without SSL from it
2) Also some 301 redirect are somehow managed from the Permalink Manager plugin (x-Redirect-By Permalink Manager, on the image you sent)
* I would suggest to try disabling the Permalink Manager Lite plugin and see if it changes anything.
a - As for the SSL certificate, you should contact the hosting/domain company support in order to check what might be the issue there.
b - The Language URL format "Different domain per language" should work without any problem if the domains are set correctly from the hosting company as shown in our documentation:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/how-to-use-wpml-with-different-domains-per-language/#how-to-enable-different-languages-per-domain
c - In case you need to use redirection feature on your website for some other reason I would suggest you check out this plugin: https://wpml.org/plugin/redirection/
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Marsel
