This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is unable to translate the heading of their blog page into secondary language; it remains in English despite their efforts. Solution: We recommend translating the Elementor Archive template, as the blog title is generated from this template. Here are the steps to follow: 1. Navigate to the Elementor Archive template that is used for the blog page. 2. Translate the template into Bulgarian. 3. Check if the blog title now appears correctly in secondary language. Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I’ve visited the blog page and I can see the “blog” title is not translated in the secondary language. Could you please follow the below steps and see if this resolves your issue:
1. Please open the default language blog page in Edit mode.
2. Make a small change, for example, add a space or + sign in your page/post title.
3. Update the page by pressing the “Update” button.
4. Now, please remove that small change that did in step #2.
5. Update the page again.
6. Now, please try to open the translated page in WPML Translation Editor and make sure the title translation is added correctly and press the Complete button.
If the issue persists, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.
Your next answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
=== Please backup your database and website ===
✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is essential.
Thanks for providing the login details. I’ve noticed that the blog title is coming from the Archive template and it will be solved when you translate the Elementor Archive template.
Could you please try to translate the below template: hidden link and let me know how it goes.
