This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was expecting that after updating content on the home page in Portuguese, the corresponding pages in English and French would also update automatically, but this did not happen. The client found the process non-intuitive and ended up with mixed language content.
Solution:
We recommend that after making changes to the content in the default language, you should use the translation icons or send the content for automatic translation to update the translations. Managing translations and updates is more straightforward with the use of automatic translation. For detailed guidance on how to use automatic translation, please refer to our guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/.
