This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate menu items across different languages on your website. However, you encounter an issue where some submenu links under 'products' in the translated sites lead to 404 errors because the links are incorrect. Additionally, these links are not editable or automatically translatable.
Solution:
We performed some standard troubleshooting steps which resolved the issue. Now, your menus should be working correctly and are editable. You can edit your German (DE) menu by accessing the following link: https://staging-d5e2-sedanamedicaldotcom.wpcomstaging.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?menu=1557&lang=de

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, or if it does not apply to your case, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate menu items in all the translated sites. I am experiencing an issue with the submenu under products of the translated sites. Some of the product links are going to 404 as the link is wrong, and I am not able to edit them or get them translated automatically. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The actual URL in the menu should be hidden link, but instead, I got hidden link, which is going to a 404 page.

Questions:
Why are some product links in the translated menu going to a 404 page?
How can I edit or automatically translate the incorrect links in the menu?

Hey there,

I ran some default troubleshooting steps, and now it seems that your menus are working and editable. You can edit your DE menu on the link:

No the issue is not fixed. Opening this link redirects me to this hidden link in which I can't find my Menu "Header Menu". Here is the screenshot link - hidden link

Hello,

I apologize. It seems that the issue happened again. What seems to be happening, is that the menus are losing their language information, that's why you see them all side-by-side in EN, and can't edit them in other languages. I made sure this time to apply the language information. I recorded a video showing, that it's now working as expected:

Please check on your side. If that happens once more, please let me know, but that shouldn't be the case.

Hello there,

As explained in our chat, I downloaded a copy of your website, to debug it locally. The local copy didn't present the issue, the menus were working flawlessly. When analyzing it working, I was able to identify that the translated menus are losing their language information, that's why they show side by side.

I was able to fix the issue by creating a new menu. Apparently this process resets the language information needed for your menu. Check the steps:
