Background of the issue:
I am working on a site under development and using WPML. I have recorded a video showing how the translation editor orders the content differently from how it was ordered on the WordPress admin.

Symptoms:
The translation editor groups the content differently from the original order on the page, which was not happening a week ago.

Questions:
How do we refer back to the original content order in the translation editor?

Hi,

To better understand how the translation editor is re-ordering your content, could you please:

1. Share the URL to the video you recorded (e.g. a Loom link hidden link), or
2. Send us a few screenshots showing the original content order in the WordPress admin alongside the order displayed in the WPML translation editor.

If you don’t have a link handy, you can quickly record another short clip with Loom and paste the shareable URL here. That will help us see exactly what’s happening and give you precise guidance.

Hello,

It relates to how the page was built and how the ATE groups the different items.

Please check this announcement:
https://wpml.org/announcements/2024/07/new-and-improved-advanced-translation-editor/

You can use the "old" version following the steps described in the section: "Want to Use the Previous Version?"

Can you please give it a try?

Best Regards,
Otto
