I am experiencing an issue where I cannot open the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) for any new or existing posts. Whenever I click the + or translate icon, or try to take a job, I get redirected to the translation queue page (admin.php?page=tm%2Fmenu%2Ftranslations-queue.php). Even when redirected, ATE fails to load. Classic Translation Editor works, but ATE does not.
To save time, here is exactly what I have already done/checked:
Memory Limits Fixed: WP_MEMORY_LIMIT is set to 256M and PHP memory_limit is 1024M (verified in WPML Support info).
Canceled Jobs: I canceled all pending/stuck jobs in Translation Management > Jobs.
Troubleshooting Steps: I executed "Clear the cache in WPML" and "Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs".
Translator Privileges: I made sure my user is added as a Translator with the correct language pairs (SR to CP, RS, EN).
Translation Basket: I sent the content to the basket, assigned it to "Translate myself", and successfully sent it. However, clicking "Translate" in the Translations queue still redirects back to the queue itself without opening ATE.
No New ATE Errors: I checked the Advanced Translation Editor Error Logs, and there are no recent errors (only old ones from last year).
Security Plugins: I temporarily disabled Wordfence to ensure the REST API is not being blocked, but the issue persists.
It seems there is a broken API connection between my site and your ATE servers, or a ghost job/account sync issue on your end.
Could you please check my ATE account connection from your side and advise on how to break this redirect loop?
the issue is fixed already but it will need to be fixed in your case now that the problem already happened.
Once you do that, the editor will open again.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes and if the problem remains, please allow me access to the site if possible so I can give a deeper look at the root issue.
