Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate traditional Chinese content into English and simplified Chinese using the advanced translate editor in WPML. However, the translations are not showing on the front end from a user view.

Symptoms:
The translated content is not reflected in the front end view. I have to manually update the content by switching to the English version and using Elementor to do the translation.

Questions:
Why is the advanced translator not reflecting translations on the front end?
How can I ensure translations appear correctly without manual updates?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. Would you please follow the steps below to provide the debug information?

https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support

Also please check if adding a simple page with just one text works if you translate?

If so please go to the page that does not work and do as follows:

- Go to your Dashboard > Pages.
- Open the edit screen of the original page. You should see a pencil/circle/gear icon in the sidebar options under the "Languages" section.
- Make a small change, for example, add an extra blank space at the end of a sentence/paragraph.
- Save it.
- You should now see that a circular arrow appears beside the 2nd languages links, this means that an update is required.
- Edit the translation again and save it up to 100% translated.

Thanks.

Thank you for the reply.

I tried but still not working and not updated. It looks like my english and chinese simplified page is not connected with the WPML editor.

Could you please assist further.

Hi,

Thanks, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.

Hello,

Thank you for the login information. I checked and could not find an issue of having the translations not appearing ont he front end even if I changed somethings.

I created a video showing what I experienced:
