Hello,
We would like to switch to automatic translation on our website. It has 4 languages and a huge number of products (Woocommerce).
I have read on your website that you do not guarantee that the old translations would be still available in the new editor, so with my developer we have tested the change on a copy of the website. We have learned that the translations that are marked as finished would still open in the old editor, so that is good. Brand new translations would open in the new editor, also good. The problem is when a translation is not finished or needs update, in this case after the switch the translation is lost.
So, to *not* to loose any translations, we would need to set all the translated content's status to "finished".
The developer has access to the database so if you would let us know how to achieve this, we could set it up and make the switch to the automatic translation editor.
Please let me know if this is possible.
Thank you,
Kind regards,
Orsolya Mulelr

Hello Carlos,

That is not helpful at all.
As I have described in my previous message, we have already tested on the test website and I need you to give us an answer to our specific problem.

**
when a translation is not finished or needs update, after the switch the translation is lost.
So, to *not* to loose any translations, we would need to set all the translated content's status to "finished" directly from the database.
**
To achieve this we need you to let us know which values we have to change and in which table/s in the database.

Can you help with this?

Best regards,
Orsolya

Hi Orsolya,
Thank you very much for the clarification.

There is no way within WPML to set the content as translated via the database; you will need to translate the content via the Translation Editor or duplicate the content. Setting the content as translated via the database will be considered custom coding, and it falls outside of the scope of our support service; also, it is not recommended.
