[Resolved] Global header logo link from different languages to individual home pages
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client needed to make the main logo in the menu/navigation link to the home page of the current language, instead of only linking to the English version. Solution: 1. Go to Divi Theme Builder and edit the header. 2. Edit the logo and change the link from manual to Dynamic and select the home page as the source. 3. Note the header name in the layout settings, in this case 'Coming Soon Header'. 4. Go to WPML -> Translation Management and search for the header. 5. Send it for translation and translate it. After following these steps, the secondary languages of the site should have the correct link in the logo.
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the steps we provided. However, this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket with us.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
Currently, the main logo in the menu/navigation in all languages is only linking to the english version. I am trying to make each language link to its individual home page.
Is there any documentation that you are following?

Hello there,
Can you please try this procedure to get the URL translated?
1. Go to WPML-> String Translation-> Translate Admin text,
2. Search for the link of the original logo
3. Select the string and add it to String Translation
4. Go to WPML-> String Translation
5. Find the URL and translate it
If it doesn't work, kindly test this alternative procedure:
1. Go to Divi-> Divi Library
2. Switch the language one of the secundary languages from the wp-admin top bar
3. Edit the Global Header
4. Edit the Menu module
5. Change the link of the logo
6. Save the template and clear the cache
After, please check if the issue persists and let me know how it goes.
Thank you for your response. So I have an issue with each solution you suggested, sorry.
Solution #1:
I've attached a screenshot, but essentially that is the option that comes up for me, however I can't find the logo, 'Gunnebo-EC-logo-white'. Would it be under another name?
Solution #2
The translations are also not showing up for me. I've attached a screenshot.

Hello there,
Can you please go to WPML > Settings > Translate Link Targets and run the scan?
If it doesn't fix the issue, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link
Please, let me know if you need any additional details. Have a nice day.

Hello there,
Thank you for sharing that information.
I'd like to ask permission to make a copy/staging version of your site where I can debug this closely without affecting the live site.
I'll make sure to delete this copy as soon as we get this issue fixed.
I'm afraid of debugging directly on the live site and cause issues to your visitors. Also, it is important to test a different setup as part of the troubleshooting.

Hello there,
I was able to fix the issue by following the steps:
- Go to Divi Theme Builder and edit the header
- Edit the logo and change the link from manual to Dynamic and select the home page as the source
- Note the header name in the layout settings, in this case 'Coming Soon Header'
- Go to WPML -> Translation Management and search for the header
- Send it for translation and translate it
Now when I check the secondary languages of the site they all seem to have the correct link in the logo.
