This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to add a new language to your website using WPML but are unable to do so. Additionally, you did not receive an email notification about the support response.
Solution:
To add a new language to your website, follow these steps:
1. Go to the page and edit it.
2. Click on the plus icon.
3. Use the Advanced Translation Editor to translate the page.
4. Complete the translation.
Regarding the email notification issue, it's important to check your email settings and spam folder. Sometimes notifications can be filtered out by email providers.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to add a new language to my website using WPML. I previously contacted support about this issue and was informed that I would receive an answer later, but I never got an email notification. When I checked the status, I noticed that the support team had responded to my ticket on the website, but the ticket was closed. I have created a staging environment for our website as requested by support.

Symptoms:
I am unable to add a new language to my website.

Questions:
Why didn't I receive an email notification about the support response?
What should I do next to add a new language to my website?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve run into this issue. The previous support ticket was closed due to inactivity.

To assist you better, I’ll need temporary access to your site (both wp-admin and FTP), preferably to a staging site where the issue can be replicated. When you log in to submit your next reply, you’ll find dedicated fields for this information below the comment area. Any details you enter there will remain private—only you and I will be able to see them.

Additionally, please provide the exact steps to reproduce the issue, so I can investigate it accurately.

Thank you for the information.

I have reviewed your website and noticed that the russian language has been added. I tested the translation of a page and encountered no issues.

I have attached a screenshot for your reference.

Not sure how you did it, it is not working for me.

I tried to translate same page on production, it is again stuck in "In progress". I tried to do it in two ways:
First from that page, by clicking on + button in language part
And after that from Translation Management - Translation Dashboard upon selecting that specific page and choosing automatic translate

It is stuck In progress for already half an hour and it says less then 1 min all the time. I am providing screen shot.

I tried to do the same on stage environment, as you did, for a contact page. I followed instructions and tried from Translation Management - Translation Dashboard, but when I click on translate it ask me for a credits. Screen shot provided

Can you please describe me the flow you were using, since all those I found online are not working?

You can also try to do it on productions, credentials are the same, just remove "stage." from URL

I manually tested this process without using automatic translation. Here are the steps I followed:

1. Go to the page and edit it.
2. Click on the plus icon.
3. Use the Advanced Translation Editor to translate the page.
4. Complete the translation.

I have not taken any further steps. The staging site requests credits, as your site currently has no assigned credits.

It is possible to share automatic translation credits across multiple sites:

Hi Andrey,

Can you please try this on production, same as guy that tried to solve this before you, but then the ticket was closed before fixing the issue?

I already sent you credentials to access production version where there should be credits because I didn't translate anything from purchase date, since nothing is working. All the time translation just stays in progress, and that's it.

I am sending you screenshot of this.

I followed your instructions this time. I followed same procedure before, without success.

Can we somehow jump into live chat?

Thank you for your feedback.

Unfortunately, I cannot convert the support ticket to a live chat, but you can open a new live chat if you would like.

Please add the access credentials to production again, as the old ones are unavailable to me. I set the following reply as private.

I appreciate your patience. Could you please test it now? It should be working. I have adjusted the WPML settings in your database.

Hi Andrey,

It is working now, I got translated page.

I notice another issue. The page is translated, that is ok, but my slider is for some reason unvisible. Can you check it please?

I translate Home Page, and in WP it all looks the same, I got the WP element there when I open page in Russian, but on website, the slider and images are not visible.

Thanks

I found the reason. The media files were not translated. When I do it manually, it works.
Thanks
