This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues where deleting a line from a repeater in one language causes content to disappear in other languages, even though the translation method is set to Manual, we have a solution for you.
Solution:
First, ensure that all WPML plugins and add-ons, including the ACFML plugin, are up to date. The ACFML plugin now allows you to select different translation modes, which can prevent synchronization issues. Specifically, you should select the 'Different Fields Across Languages' option. For detailed instructions on how to update the plugins and change the translation method, please follow these steps:

  • Go to Dashboard -> Updates in your wp-admin. Click on the 'Check again' button, select all WPML and ACF plugins, and click 'Update Plugins'.
  • Alternatively, go to Plugins -> Add New, click on the 'Commercial' tab, then 'Check for updates' in the WPML section, select all plugins with a red notification, and click 'Download'.

After updating the plugins and changing the translation method to 'Different Fields Across Languages', check if the issue is resolved.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your case. If the problem persists, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket.

If I delete a line from a repeater, content disappears in the other languages despite the translation method select is Manual, we're using the WordPress editor to translate it.

If you go to Edit Produktas > Automatinės linijos > Technical details (slider)

Remove "Suspausto oro suvartojimas" row, "Update" and then in other languages the content will disappear in the same repeater.

Hello there,

I checked it and it seems like your site is missing a few WPML and WPML addons updates.

The own ACFML plugin changed and now it is possible to select the different types of translation modes:

https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/#choosing-how-to-translate-field-groups

By selection the option 'Different Fields Across Languages' you should no longer have that sync issue you were experiencing, please check: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/#using-different-fields-across-languages

However, for the translation modes to become available, it is necessary to update all WPML plugins.

I tried doing it but both the dashboard updates and the plugins commercial tab are disabled. Even if I edit the user capabilities I can't seem to enable those pages for me.

There are two ways of automatically updating it:

Method 1:
- Inside your wp-admin please go to Dashboard -> Updates.
- Then click on the "Check again" button.
- After that please select every WPML and ACF plugin available in the list and then click on "Update Plugins".

Method 2:
- Inside your wp-admin please go to Plugins -> Add New.
- Then click on the "Commercial" tab and click on the "Check for updates" button in the WPML section
- After that please select every red plugin available in the list and then click on "Download" at the bottom of the grid.

Can you please update the plugins, change the translation method of that field group to 'Different Fields Across Languages' and check if it gets the issue fixed?

Thank you, please let us know.
