Hello Mason,

Thank you for contacting the support.

Before proceeding further, may I ask you to try the following?

IMPORTANT: Take full backup of your website and database beforehand. It is highly advised to try the following on a staging/dev site first, so your live website isn't compromised.

Update all WPML plugins to latest versions. You can try this by going to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial -> Check for updates or manually downloading from https://wpml.org/account/downloads/ and uploading via Plugins -> Add New -> Upload.

And try again. If issue continues to appear, then proceed with the following:

- Enable debugging in your site. See https://wpml.org/documentation/support/debugging-wpml/ for details.
- Deactivate all plugins except WPML and its addons and check for the issue.
- Activate each plugin one-by-one, while keeping check on the issue after a plugin is activated. This way you'll be able to pinpoint a plugin having a conflict (or problem), if any.
- If the problem persists, repeat the above steps with a default theme of WordPress (i.e. 2021 or 2023).

Please let me know and I'll try my best to help you further on the matter.

Regards.

Hello

I did check to make sure all of our WPML plugins are up to date and they are. I also have debugging logs set and they showed no issues. When i tried running it a third time i set the theme to the basic WordPress 2022 and disabled all of the plugins except WPML and we till got a 502 timeout.

Please advise.

Thank you for the updates.

I need to take a closer look at your site. So I request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP), preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your next answer will be private, to share this information safely.

Also provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue and links to pages in admin and on frontend.

IMPORTANT: Please take a complete backup of the site to avoid data loss.

See https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/ for details on privacy and security.

Thank you for the access, but unfortunately it is not working. Looks like the password is incorrect (I copied and pasted user/password):

> Error: The password you entered for the username ******** is incorrect.

Please check on your side and provide correct credentials. I've set your next reply as private again.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

I've tried several things, including deactivating Mu Plugins but without any luck. However I discussed the matter with the team and they suggest to try the following (in your staging site first):

- Increase memory limits and max execution time
- Increase buffer size for nginx, see hidden link and hidden link
- There's also the following error in Tools -> Site Health about extremely low disk space:

> Available disk space is critically low, less than 20 MB available. Proceed with caution, updates may fail.

You may need to check with your service provider to fix the above mentioned. Once these are fixed please try again with WPML plugins only.

If issue is still there, it 'll be great if you can also provide server error logs (not the WordPress debug log which I've already checked).

Please let me know and I'll try my best to further help you on the matter.

Good Day.

We setup our memory for the site to

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
define('WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M');

I reached out to our web host WPE and they adjusted the NGINX settings as best as they could as well.

Thank you for the updates, I checked again with WPML plugins and default theme only and issue is still there.

I also checked for WP Memory Limit, it was the same as yesterday. However, I've increased it but still no luck.

Can you please check about the following?

- Disk space in Tools -> Site Health (see attached).

- Server Error Logs, because in WP debug.log there's no relevant info.

- Nginx config info for these mentioned in the following guides (you may need to get these from your service provider or from your hosting panel):
--- hidden link
--- hidden link

So I can see what are these config values and can discuss with the team about it.
