This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that after translating text from English to Dutch using the Advanced Translation Editor, the paragraphs were not displayed in the Dutch translation.
Solution:
We first asked the client how they were adding paragraphs to the original content and confirmed whether they were using the Advanced Translation Editor. We then directed the client to review our errata documentation and try a workaround for issues related to line breaks being ignored in the Advanced Translation Editor. The documentation can be found here: https://wpml.org/errata/line-breaks-are-ignored-when-using-the-advanced-translation-edior/.
If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also advise checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hi there,

How are you adding the paragraphs to the original content? Are you possibly using HTML br tags?

Also, are you currently using the Advanced Translation Editor to create the translations?

Hi Marcel,

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.

NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.

Thank you,
Bobby

Hi Bobby,

In the end the workaround solution worked by adding a new word in the original language. Not ideal but this is working for now hope there will be a better solution in the future.

Thank you,
Marcel
