Problem:
The client was experiencing an issue where the category page disappeared when the WPML String Translation plugin was enabled.
Solution:
We recommended the client to confirm that they had created a full site backup. After gaining access to the site, we re-saved the permalinks and translated a missing slug in the WooCommerce Multilingual settings. This action resolved the issue, and the product categories became visible again. If you're experiencing a similar issue, we recommend checking your permalinks and ensuring all necessary slugs are translated.
