Tell us what you are trying to do?
updating a page without the WPML settings options resetting.

Is there a similar example that we can see?
the settings set to "translate" (see screen capture) are resettings to default when updating a page.

What is the link to your site?

Sorry, missing information:
I have currently deactivate the "Advanced Custom Fields Multilingual" plugin to be able to show the site working.
To reproduce the problem, simply activate the plugin and try to update a page "Le Domaine":
hidden link
which is not showing the translation on page header section.
With the solution to this one problem, I should be able to fixe multiple ones before opening another ticket.
Thanks for your help.

Update, I have reactivated the plugin "Advanced Custom Fields Multilingual". After updating pages, It has reset the custom fields from "translate" to "copy" and erased the translation we had made on each custom field concerned.
Please help.
Thanks.

Hi there,

When translating Advanced Custom Fields it is necessary to have ACF Multilingual add-on activated.

Additionally, ensure after activating the add-on plugin that the settings are set per our documentation:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/

The field settings should be set directly within the ACF field groups.

if this is not set up as shown in our docs this could result in behavior that is not desirable as described above.

Let me know your results, please.

Hi Bobby, thanks for reply,
I only modify already done pages on the pro theme I bought.
Is it normal that my ACF fields group is empty?
Thanks for your help.

ok, we have play a lot with the settings and I don't even know exactly what has finally made some of the custom fields appeared translated.
Except for the unwanted Posts section appearing on the translated pages, seems to work for most part.
Can you tell me why those sections appear if they are not on the English original page?
Would you be kind enough for login in the admin and checking my settings, all translations are in the page editor and WPML UI so we are not far from success.
The client as a product launch in 3 hours in China and I am on intense stress to deliver the translated site. Would be very appreciate.

like on this page all this sections should not be there.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Unfortunately due to our time zone difference, I was not able to be notified immediately when received your reply.

When reviewing the page you shared with me I no longer see the not wanted sections, were you able to resolve this?

Based on the above information it looks like some page settings might be different in the translatiton. One way to resolve this is by doing the following:

1. Go to pages-> edit the page in the default laguage
2. Click on the language switcher in the top header and switch to the translation version (open in a new tab and dismiss the warning)

3. Now you are able to compare the settings for the page in both the default language and translation. Verify that they are the same.

Let me know your results, please.
