Background of the issue:
I'm trying to change the default language variable product default attribute. I save the product, and it shows in the default language but not in other languages. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link
Symptoms:
The default variation is not selected in secondary languages. Instead of showing the default variation, nothing is displayed.
Questions:
Why is the default attribute not syncing to secondary languages?
How can I ensure the default variation is selected in all languages?
Thanks for the screenshot.
It helped me understand how to set the default variation.
I updated the original product in the hope it would fix this issue, but unfortunately it didn't fix it. I still don't know why it works in Finnish but not in Estonian. Before we continue investigating this issue, I want ot ask you the following. Is this a problem unique to this specific hidden link">product, or does it occur with many products?
Please note that my weekend hours are Friday to Saturday. If you need further assistance, I'll be available to continue checking this issue and helping you next week.
What do you mean by older variable products?
I'm asking this because we can see that it works alright in English, the default language, and Finnish, another second language. So is something in the Estonian translation older than the English and Finnish versions?
I also wanted to ask, have you imported the products with the problem to the site, or created and translated them on the site?
Example if I check never date created variable products I can see it changes in estonian and in finnish language correctly default variation. But older date created variable products estonian default variations not syncing but finnish syncs.
I think estonian was created maybe through woocommerce table (duplicate) and finnish through wpml translation editor??
Thanks for adding more information about your case.

Please understand that since you yourself are not sure about how the translations were created, it makes it hard for me to realize what went wrong.
Since the Estonian translation of this hidden link">product is a duplication of the English hidden link">product , and it is not an actual translation, do you allow me to continue with the following on your site? Please allow me to delete the Estonian product (just this one example) and duplicate it again. I want to check if it fixes the problem or if it persists even then.
As I mentioned, it is not really a translation; the text on the Estonian product is in English because the product is a duplication of the English product.
In any case, I fixed this problem on your site without deleting the Estonian page. Please see the attached screenshot.
Can you please confirm that this problem is solved now?
