Now running into the next problem... where do i edit / update these translations myself? Why isn't there an 'update / translate' button?

Hi,

Here is the new ticket. You can go to WPML > Translation Management > Select the page/template > Send it to translation.
From WPML > Translations > Take the job and translate it (click on the button in the Actions column).
