When I disable the WPML String Translation pugin, I can normally save the tablepress table to the database. When the mentioned plugin (WPML String Translation) is active, I get an error notice:
Attention: Unfortunately, an error occurred. The table could not be saved to the database properly.
To explain it to you in the easiest way, you cannot save new data on existing tables.
Try editing this table that you sent (hidden link) with test data and save it. After that, load it again (reload the page) and you will see that your new data has not been saved.
As for creating new tables, the situation is the same, you can create a new table, but you can't save any data inside it.
Link how to create a new table in the tablepress plugin: hidden link %20a%20New%20Table,then%20click%20%E2%80%9CAdd%20Table%E2%80%9C.
If you need any information, feel free to let me know.
Even after disabling all plugins except for WPML and Tablepress, the problem continues to exist. Would it be possible for you to install Tablepress on our sandbox site at this link: hidden link and import the tables?
I would like to examine if I can reproduce the issue on our sandbox site.
I can't seem to replicate the issue on our sandbox site and it seems to be isolated to your Website for some reason.
I will have to escalate this and we apologize for the inconvenience, but in order to proceed with troubleshooting, we kindly request a site snapshot. Alternatively, with your permission, we can create a snapshot on our own.
For this purpose, we typically recommend using the free plugin "Duplicator." If you are already familiar with how Duplicator works ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded.
To assist you further, please follow these instructions:
Watch the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link
If the archive file exceeds 400MB in size, please utilize Duplicator's file filters to exclude the cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.
Once you have the archive file, please share the link with us. You can use services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar platforms as the snapshot file will likely be large.
Please note that your next reply will be private, visible only to you and me. You can paste the link to the file there. Rest assured that once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local site.
I've tested your Website on my local dev site and I'm able to get it to work when I deactivated all plugins except WPML and Tablepress. Could you share your Website WP admin access to your staging site here so that I could recheck?
Um, that's very strange. Because when you go to change the data and save the table (hidden link), the system saves the data, but when you refresh the page , the system did not save anything in the database. Likewise, when you go to create a new table, it doesn't save your data (it just lets you create a new table).
All plugins are turned off on the staging server (except Tablepress and Wpml), and the theme is set to default (Twenty Twenty-Three).
So I'm not sure if the problem is caused by a 3rd party plugin or our theme.
