Background of the issue:
I am trying to display the same number of posts on both the German and English versions of my site. On my German site (hidden link), I have more posts than on the English version (hidden link). All posts are duplicates and should show up. This was working until recently.
Auth: blogvault / 4c154243
Symptoms:
Some posts are missing from the English version, even though they are duplicates and should appear.
Questions:
Why are some posts missing from the English version?
How can I ensure that all duplicate posts appear on both language versions?
Welcome to the WPML support forum. Before passing this thread to my colleague, I would like to share some suggestions and possible solutions for the issues you mentioned. Sorry for the late response because of the holidays.
Please try the following steps after a full site backup (mandatory) and check if the result changes.
1) Upgrade to the latest version of WordPress (6.8.1)
2) Upgrade to the latest version of WPML (4.7.4 series)
3) Go to WPML>>Support page, click on the Troubleshooting link (blue link in the middle of the page)
4) On the Troubleshooting page, please click on the following options of the *Clean up* section. Wait for confirmation of processing after each one.
- Clear the cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Set language information
- Fix WPML tables collation
- Assign translation status to duplicated content
- Fix terms count
- Fix post type assignment
- Cleanup and optimize string tables
Also, increase *WP Memory Limit* to *256*(the minimum required memory limit for WPML is *128*). Please check the following links for more details
