I recently switched over from one WPML account (agency) to another (our own). That seemed to go smoothly but now it appears that one whole section of our web site has lost the WPML capability and instead of pages appearing as different language versions they are all shown independently. It is fine everywhere else in the site. How can I revert this back a) to reinstate WPML for this section and b) in a way that doesnt require me to recreate the pages and all their translations?.

You can see what WordPress looks like for this section here in the screenshot. WPML translation option has disappeared and the pages are all listed independently. In other sections of the site WPML is working as expected.

On the site this relates to the page hidden link

Thank you

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

The screenshots shared are for two different sections. The pages seem to be translated and the Network seems to be not translated. Could you elaborate a little more so I can have a better understanding?

It would be great if you could share a link with a video describing the problem.

Regards,
Carlos

Hi, yes these are two different sections in the screenshots to show you that WPML is working everywhere else in the site but in "Network" section it has disappeared.
This is not because of anything I have done. Its just vanished. The Network pages used to have English master page and up to 8 translations. Now every translated version is appearing independently and we seem to have lost multi-lingual capability. BUT only on this section of the site. How do I get it back? Not sure a video will help with this? But can do a screenshare on a call if that helps.

Hi,
Thank you for your message.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to back up the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Regards,
Carlos

Thank you for sharing the access credentials.

Unfortunately, I can't access the site because the password is incorrect. Please double-check the credentials and edit your previous (private) message if necessary.

We eventually found the problem in WPML settings. What we dont know is why the setting changed. It doesnt appear to have been changed by any of our team members. The important thing is it has been resolved.
