This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client wants to switch to automatic translation on their multilingual WooCommerce site without losing translations that are not marked as 'finished'. They inquired about setting all translated content's status to 'finished' directly in the database to prevent any loss of translations during the switch.
Solution:
We explained that within WPML, there is no feature to directly set the content as 'finished' via the database. All content must be handled either through the Translation Editor or by duplicating the content. Direct database manipulation to mark translations as 'finished' is considered custom coding and falls outside the scope of our support. It is also not recommended due to potential risks and complications.
