This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are using the classic translation editor in WPML to translate a manually created custom post type (CPT). After duplicating and separating the CPT, a persistent pop-up alert appears every time you make changes or save, warning that changes will be lost using the WordPress editor, although they are not.
Solution:
This issue occurs because the translation editor is still active for the post or the entire CPT. To resolve this, you can disable the translation editor for the specific post or the entire CPT. For detailed instructions on how to switch to manual translation and disable the translation editor, please visit the following link:

Background of the issue:
I'm using the classic translation editor in WPML. I want to translate a custom post type (CPT) that I created manually. After duplicating the new CPT, I go to the duplicated item and separate it from the original one. At this point, I expect to be able to translate it separately without any issue.

Symptoms:
Since I separate the item, I start getting an annoying huge pop-up alert that I'm using the WordPress editor and any change will be lost (but it will not actually). Every time I make a change or save the item, the pop-up shows up. There must be a way to remove it for good.

Questions:
How can I stop the pop-up alert from appearing every time I make a change or save the item?
Is there a way to remove the pop-up alert for good when using the WordPress editor?

Hi,

For as long a translation editor is active for the particular post or the whole CPT, this will show.

Can you check this?
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/#how-to-use-manual-translation

You can disable it for the whole CPT.

Yes, you are right. My fault. I forgot to change the translation editor.
Now everything works fine.
Thanks.
