Background of the issue:
I'm using a recipe plugin on my site hidden link. I translated a blog post with a connected recipe using WPML. I also translated the recipe itself.
Symptoms:
After translation, the recipe disappeared from the translations. It is not translated in the post itself and cannot be found in the translation panel.
Questions:
Why did the recipe disappear from the translations after I translated it?
How can I make the translated recipe appear in the post and the translation panel?
I checked how it's looking from the wprecipie side. and I set it up.
The main problem is, that you need to start translation with "recipie" and then do the blog post, becouse after finishing blog post, recipie is removed from translations.
In the wp-recipie it creates a new recipie, so further translations can be done there, but if for some reson, blog post is translated first. then it's impossible to create translations of that recipie.

Please translate the blog post, so that the recipe is untranslatable. With that, I can test on a fresh install and escalate to check for a soution, if necessary 🙂

Last problem had some issues with the json, After fixing it's saved and shows proper recipie.
So my qestion is is that correct set up for making translation (I do want to use translations based on files not your editor. I have tousands of posts to change so translating it manually in gui is not an option).
Is there any other way to connect recipie with the translated post in a different way then editing that post direclty ?

1. For a workaround, it's best that you re-send the recipe for translation in WPML > Translation Dashboard, ensure it's translated and only then translate the post that contains it. Instead of directly editing the post, as you did in the video.
2. As a general rule, since the Recipe is inside the post, you should always translate from the “inside out”. That means, first make sure that all recipes are translated (since they're inside the post), and only then translate the posts. That should be a safer, more practical way to translate the website's content.
3. Finally, always make sure to empty your caches, after changing content, and after sending content for translation. Perhaps it's caching that's interfering in your translation list, and causing this behavior.

What about editing the english version of the post in the wordpress. Is there a way to connect another recipie (since a new language version was created) to the post not through editing the post itself from wordpress editor ?

I'm not entirely sure if I understood the question, so I'll answer based on what I got:
In your scenario, after setting the option "WordPress Editor", you can only change them using this editor. You can create the page/post translation in any way you like, using the WordPress Editor.

Hi, sorry for long answer, i was out without internet access.
So just to clarify.
1. I do translation of the recipue and then it creates a new recipe (new link, new shortcut, new object)
2. I do translation of the blog post
3. In the english version the recipie is still in Polish - there is no option to change that link to the new one in the translation of the post.
4. I need to edit english version of the post in Worpress editor to change insert proper shortcode to the new english recipe, and i'm given a warrining, that any change that will be done to this post in wordpress editor will be overwritten in the next translation of the post. So if I will make changes to the original post and I would like to translate those to the new one, then I need to remember to again update the recipie shortcode

It seems to me that you're getting the message, because you are trying to edit the translation that was created with the Translation Editor, using the WordPress editor, which is not recommended.
