Short description not updated

farithciaK	Hi, I need support with an issue I’ve recently seen happening. For most of my products in Woocommerce, I originally have text in the short description section to inform customers a product is a pre-order and its expected delivery date. Once the product is in stock, the existing product is updated with new information and the short description is removed in the original language (Dutch). Everthing is then automatically updated in the 2nd language (English), except the short description. The translate text from the original version is still visible. I’ve used WPML for several years and it did not do this before. It would always also remove the short description for the 2nd language if it was removed from the original language. Could you please assist with this issue?

I tested the steps you mentioned on the ticket on a clean installation of WordPress and WPML and found the same problem. I reported this to the second tier support for confirmation and I will get back to you after I have the confirmation. If the issue is confirmed, this will be reported to the development team as a bug. Thanks.

There is no ETA to have a fix. For now, the workaround will be to go to the second language using the top admin bar language switcher and manually remove the short description content and save the post/product. Thanks.
