Hi, thanks for your reply. I found one issue, that might has to do with that problem.
I wrote a text in german including a Hyperlink. This hyperlink is NOT marked in the spanish and english translation section. I made two sceenshots of it.
You can find this text under "Pages" (Seiten), it is called "Für Freunde"!
In Advanced Translation Editor, the HTML attributes, URL are hidden, you can see only content to translate. If you want to translate the URL, please search for this, screenshot hidden link
i know that the URL is hidden, but it is marked green as a link in the edit-box. (See screenshot attached) the lower pic is from another page with WPML, the upper pic is from hidden link.
So in my eyes it does not overtake the link itself.
Ok, thank you, I understand. Last question (hopefully):
How can I change the link, because I need a link to the page with the appropriate language.
That means: German page needs link to german page, english to english etc.
Where can I change this?
Thanks in advance
Michel
In the default (German) language, you need to add the link to the page manually when creating the content.
In the second (English) language, WPML will attempt to adjust the internal URLs as much as possible. But in some cases, it does not work, then you can translate the URL in the Advanced Translation Editor as I mentioned above (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translate-url-in-elementor-content/#post-13954543).
Look forward to your reply.
Thanks
