This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to set up the Ultimate Affiliate PRO plugin for multilingual use with WPML.

Solution:
We recommend checking if the plugin is on our compatibility list, which it is not: WPML compatibility list.
Next, we advise going through our getting started guide, which includes information on translating strings, custom post types, custom fields, and taxonomies.
We also suggest contacting the plugin author to request a compatibility update or information about making their plugin multilingual-ready. We provide resources for developers to achieve compatibility with WPML, which can be found at WPML support for developers and achieving WPML compatibility for themes and plugins.
Additionally, we invite theme and plugin authors to join our Go Global program to work alongside our compatibility team to ensure their products are WPML-ready. More information can be found at Go Global program.

If this solution doesn't look relevant, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

The said plugin (Indeed Ultimate Affiliate Pro) isn't on our compatibility list (https://wpml.org/plugin/?wpv_view_count=120064&wpv-plugin-functionality=0&wpv_post_search=Affiliate&wpv-wpcf-recommendation-flag=&wpv_filter_submit=Search), so I am not sure how it works and what it needs to be multilingual.

But generally, I'll advise to check our getting started guide https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/. This guide also provides links to several useful topics like translating strings, custom post types, custom fields and taxonomies and etc.

On the other hand, I recommend you to contact the plugin author and request a compatibility update or information about it.

WPML offers very useful information for developers aiming to make their themes/plugins compatible. Please see https://wpml.org/documentation/support/ and https://wpml.org/documentation/support/achieving-wpml-compatibility-for-your-themes-and-plugins/ for details.

Theme and plugin authors are welcome to join WPML’s Go Global program, which helps them make their code multilingual ready. Together with WPML’s compatibility team, they can test and confirm that their theme or plugin works with WPML. See https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/ for details and you can refer your theme/plugin provider to this as well.

Regards.
