Problem:
The client reported an issue on their booking site where the total price for a booking period displayed correctly in English (the administrative language), but in Dutch, German, and French, it showed as the price per day, leading to incorrect tax and fee calculations.
Solution:
We identified that the Hotel Booking plugin used by the client was compatible with WPML. We recommended checking the translation of accommodation prices and ensuring all content was correctly translated. After the client updated the translations, the issue persisted, suggesting a possible minor bug. We then set up a Sandbox site for the client to test if the issue could be reproduced with a minimal setup. Upon translating the strings that showed the price per night, the issue was resolved.
