Background of the issue:
I am trying to click on save and move to the next translation piece in the WPML translation editor without the screen constantly scrolling up. Here is a link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link.

Symptoms:
The screen continuously scrolls up every time I click to save a translation, without my mouse moving at all.

Questions:
Why does the WPML translation editor scroll up after every click on 'save'?
How can I prevent the screen from scrolling up when saving a translation?

Hello there,

It seems that scroll up is the system trying to find a segment that is not fully saved. if you make a small change to the segment it highlights and then re-save it, do you still see the problem happening?

And is it happening on a specific page or on all the pages? if so can you give me the link of the one from the video so I can try to test it on our end?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, that may have been the case. I think there was a line that I wanted to come back to later to address.

However, every time the system scrolled up, it did not take me back to the line that was not saved. So it didn't help to bring anything to my attention that needed to be addressed. It's like it's just scrolling up to a random spot.

It also seems very strange and counterproductive, to force someone to scroll up after every single click on "save" on subsequent segments they are working on. They may intentionally be trying to work on the lower parts of the translation, before going back up. The system already stops them from completing the translation if something is not saved anyway.

Can this feature be removed? Can it be reported as a bug?

I have since completed the translation of the page in the video. I also don't have a way to send you the login information here...

I see, no problem, we caught the bug and it's going to be fixed in this upcoming release. I don't know the exact date but it should be soon, I'd dare say within the next 2 weeks max.

As per disabling the feature. That's something I'll bring to our Devs as a feature request.

Thank you. However, I'm genuinely confused. Could you explain what you mean by this:

"As per disabled Ng the feature"?

Which feature request will you be making?

If this is a bug problem, would it not be solved entirely in the next release?

Hello,

The actual issue you're experiencing is definitely a bug and its fix is already in the process of being deployed to our main servers so you should stop seeing the problem soon.

Specifically, you have the scroll even AFTER all the segments are complete which is not correct (there shouldn't be any scroll in that case).

The feature request was to allow users to disable the scrolling altogether when there are segments to finish.
