Tell us what you are trying to do?
The 'Contact Us' page on the english site only links back to english site, this is an issue when users are on different languages

Is there any documentation that you are following?
No

Is there a similar example that we can see?
No, but we had the same issue preiosuly with the logo only linking tot he english site and WPML support went in and fixed it.

Another issue: In different translations, the design changes and some elements get misaligned because of the length of different words, etc. Is this something you can assist with, or will we need to manually fix the design across all languages? Thanks

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps and try to help with the issue quickly.

1) I have checked and as I can understand the issue is with the big blue button "Contact us" linking to the EN page in all languages, is that correct?

2) I see that translated pages do not exist or are not published, can you please go to Pages > All and make sure that the page is translated and the translated pages are published?

Hiii,

1. Yes you're correct. When user switches languages, the 'contact us' button in the main nav links to the english version of the website instead of the contact us page in that respective language.

2. Not all translations exist/are published, but we have english, french, swedish, spanish, italian, german. So in those translations, is there a quick/simpler way to fix the design misalignments or would we have to do it manually?

Please let me know how this button is added to your header. If you added it from the theme settings, please try the following steps:

1- Go to WPML-> Theme and plugins localization, select your theme/plugin, and scan
2- Go to WPML-> String Translation
3- Scroll down and click on the "Translate texts in admin screens »" link
4- Search for the needed strings
5- Select the strings
6- Click on the "Add to String Translation" button
7- Then click on the "« Return to String Translation" link
8- Translate the strings, clear the cache, and check the front end

Hi Osama,

Thank you for your response. We had previously had an issue like this and thenone of your team members went into the site for us to fix it. Unfortunately I'm not too skilled in this plugin and don't want to mess something up on the livesite. Is it possible for you to go into our livesite and fix it for us? Let me know, thanks!

Thanks for your update. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
