Background of the issue:
I am trying to get the French translation to work correctly on my site hidden link. The German translation always works and shows up on the front end correctly.

Symptoms:
The French translation has issues such as not showing on the front end even though I see them in ATE. Clicking 'complete translation' doesn't do anything or says 'completion already in progress', or the translation is always stuck in progress.

Questions:
Why is the French translation not showing on the front end?
Why does clicking 'complete translation' not work or say 'completion already in progress'?
Why is the French translation always stuck in progress?

Translation method used: clicking the + icon on base language (EN) and using translation management and sending for automatic translation.

Looking for long term solutions because this has happened a couple times in the past month.

Does it only happen to this product? Also, I regret any inconvenience caused, but to proceed with troubleshooting, I kindly ask for a snapshot of the site. Alternatively, with your permission, I can create one myself. For this purpose, I typically recommend using the free plugin "Duplicator." If you're already familiar with Duplicator (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded.

To guide you further, please adhere to these instructions:

1. View the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link

2. Consult WPML's instructions on providing supporters with a copy of your site: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

3. If the archive file exceeds 400MB, please use Duplicator's file filters to exclude cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.

Once you have the archive file ready, kindly share the link with us. You can utilize platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar for file sharing, as the snapshot file might be large.

Please note that your next reply will be private, visible only to you and me. You can paste the file link there. Rest assured that once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local site.

Sorry, the SQL database file seems invalid. Could you maybe clone the site to another staging site so that I could check this out for you?

This is on live hidden link, I can open ATE and see FR in the right column. I hit Complete Translation and it says Completion already in progress. Front end still in EN hidden link This has been happening to FR only the past couple weeks.

I'm able to copy the Website to my local host and I'm able to replicate the issue. Please allow me to investigate this further and if required, I will escalate this further to our 2nd Tier Support for further assistance.

I've feedback from our 2nd Tier Support and they are still investigating the issue. For now, the only workaround would be to use the "Classic Translation Editor".
