[Resolved] I have translated WP From and it translated in original language
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was experiencing issues with WPForms where translated confirmation emails were appearing in the original language instead of the selected translation language. Despite setting up translations for notifications in Slovenian, the emails were being sent in English. Solution: We advised the client to ensure that the forms and their notifications are translated through WPML's Translation Management rather than String Translation. The specific steps included: 1. Access the form settings in the WPForms builder at the URL provided (specific to the client's site). 2. Add the translated text directly in the form's notification settings for the Slovenian version. 3. Save these changes and update the form translations via WPML's Translation Management. 4. Verify that the translations are correctly implemented by checking in WPML's String Translation. We also provided a link to the documentation for further guidance on translating forms using WPML and WPForms: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/creating-multilingual-forms-using-wpforms-and-wpml/
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket. Additionally, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I have translated WP Forms using the translation manager with instructions from WP Forms. I am working on a site under development.
Symptoms:
The translated confirmation emails appear in the original language instead of English. When I select English, there is no content.
Questions:
Why are the translated confirmation emails appearing in the original language?
How can I ensure the confirmation emails are only in English?
I went to translation management choose wp forms in slovenian language and then i clicked automatic translation. The problem is thet i don't see that translations anymore....
1.- I kindly ask you to describe, step-by-step, how to see the issue on the site. This will allow me to reproduce the problem and have a full understanding.
2.- Also, please share the access credentials to the site. I have set your next message private so you can securely share the credentials.
Confirm you created a full site backup before sharing the credentials that you can use to restore the site if necessary.
Your latest message is confusing because you haven't described the steps to follow to reproduce the problem. I understand you are getting the notifications only in English, but I need you to describe step-by-step where are the forms and how to get those notifications. That way I will be able to reproduce the issue and isolate its cause 🙂
Can i lovse this by deleting both notifications and adding 2 new ones? Because have told you twice and I really don't know what else do you need. I need you to see why my notifications are in english also if i send it from original language
I sent a message in each form and the only content in English I got was:
Thank you for your inquiry!
Dear WPML Test,
Thank you for your inquiry. We have received your request and will provide you with a response as soon as possible. For additional information, we are always available at the email address: office@nkolimpija.si.
If this is the text you are trying to translate, then you need to edit the form in Slovenian: hidden link -> Add the translated text there (because in Slovenian there is a part of the notification text that is in English) -> Save the changes and update the translation of the forms via WPML -> Translation Management
Note: You can double-check in String Translation that the original text is a mix between Slovenian and English: hidden link
Yes one part of the4 text is in english I have it in wp forms like this, because I did not know before taht i can translate email notifications also for each language. But the problem is that when i sent on slovenian language that i get english confirmation mails:
Those emails are sent in English because the form used was the one on the English page. You can see the text in Slovenian in the screenshots I shared, plus you can see the emails subjects in the screenshot attached to this message.
