This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing slow dashboard performance when WPML plugins like WPML Import/Export and WPML Translation Management are active. Deactivating these plugins improves performance, but then the client encounters a translation error stating 'WPML tried to translate this page three times and failed.' Additionally, there are issues with site connectivity and credit requirements for full site translation.
Solution:
1. Check with your hosting provider about any connectivity issues that might be affecting the WPML plugins. This could be related to the slow dashboard performance.
2. Restore any changes to the site that might have affected its functionality. We have restored the site for you.
3. To address the translation error, ensure that all necessary WPML plugins are activated and properly configured.
4. For calculating the required credits for translating your entire site, refer to the WPML documentation on automatic translation pricing. You can find detailed information and a guide to calculating your site's word count here: Automatic Translation Pricing.

If this solution does not resolve your issues or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems persist, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to improve the performance of my WordPress dashboard, which is extremely slow to load. I found that several WPML-related plugins are active, such as WPML Import/Export and WPML Translation Management. After deactivating these plugins, the dashboard performance improved. However, when I tried to translate a page, I encountered an error. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The dashboard is extremely slow to load when WPML plugins are active. After deactivating them, the performance improves, but I encounter an error when translating a page: 'WPML tried to translate this page three times and failed. To get it fixed, contact support.'

Questions:
Why is the dashboard slow when WPML plugins are active?
How can I fix the translation error after deactivating WPML plugins?

Thanks for your reply. Could you please update your credentials here again? I'm getting "Error: The password you entered for the username chase-springs is incorrect."

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your reply. I've rechecked here hidden link and I'm still able to see the connection issue with your hosting provider as shown in the attached screenshot. Have you checked with your hosting provider regarding the error?

Thanks for your reply. When you submit pages/posts for translations, you'll see the required amount of credits shown at the bottom of the translation management dashboard as shown in the attached screenshot. Then, you can calculate the cost using the feature here https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/#getting-your-websites-word-count
