<b>Background of the issue: </b>
I updated WPML and all its components to the latest version. Before the update, the translation format was working fine. See the original page: hidden link and the translation page without break line in the product short description: hidden link. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

<b>Symptoms: </b>
Break lines are not respected in the new version. The translation format is wrong. Instead of having break lines, the text appears as a single block.

<b>Questions: </b>
Why are break lines not respected in the new version of WPML?
How can I fix the translation format to include break lines as before the update?

Strange is that in the "Production description" it works fine, but in the "Product short description" not.

Can you tell me how can i add a break line inside the "Product short description" which will be respected from WPML?

Hello!

We just discovered this issue today and we're working to have it fixed. in the meantime you can use the gear icon on the topmost right side of the editor and switch to the "old editor" for now and see if the problem disappears, this way you don't get stuck while we fix the issue.

The ticket should not be closed now. the proper fix is being tested at the moment and i'll let you know when it's pushed to the our production servers.

However, please be aware of the workaround i mentioned in my previous answer so you don't get blocked and can continue working.

Same issue here and this is REALLY annoying, no Break lkines anymore

Emails sent are a mess !
Please could you fix that ?
or should i reverse to a previous version ?

Hi there,

You can try to return to the previous version from the settings, at least in the meantime but a fix is on the way, it's in our testing environment at the moment, so it means our devs are running tests to see if it's safe enough to be released to the public.
