Background of the issue:
We just purchased and installed WPML a few days ago. We did not know that it runs on a credit system. Only the 90,000 credit was on your purchase plan table, but there was no mention of what that means. We selected which languages and webpages we want our website to support and then selected 'translate'.

Symptoms:
We eventually got a notification: 'out of credits for automatic translation'.

Questions:
How does the WPML credit system work?
If a page has 100 words and we chose ptc (4 credits per word) as the translation engine, does that mean the 100 words cost 400 credits?
Is the credit cost per language? So if we want the 100 words translated into 3 languages (Spanish, French, German), does that mean it costs 1200 credits?

Hello Cesar,

Thank you for waiting. I re-read what we discussed and would like to provide a way for us to move forward: I can't really discuss the price of automatic AI translation. It's reasonable, if you compare it to other services, and to human translators (which can be far more expensive). It's important to make clear that content translation is one thing, while the WPML subscription is another. One charges you to create translations with AI and the other is the access to the WPML software.

Now, about the UX. For me to escalate this issue, please provide me with the following information:

1. When you started translating with AI, did you see or notice any information about credit usage?

2. At what point did you realize that the translations were consuming credits?

3. Which part of the interface or workflow felt unclear or misleading to you?

4. Were you expecting the system to ask for confirmation before using a large amount of credits?

5. What would have helped you avoid consuming the credits unintentionally?

I know this takes some effort, but it's the best way we can proceed here. Thanks in advance for your patience and cooperation.
