This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was facing issues with the mobile menu in the Italian version of their site. The problems included incorrect font size, missing icons, and a missing HOME link. The mobile menu was incorrectly showing desktop menu items instead of mobile-specific items.
Solution:
1. We advised the client to manually translate the mobile menu by switching to the Italian version in WP > Design > Menu. This can be done using the language switcher at https://bau24.ad-passion.it/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?menu=27&lang=it.
2. For translating menus that appear differently in each language, we recommended using the method described in Translating Menus That Appear Different in Each Language.
3. To address the issue of the mobile menu displaying desktop items, we corrected the menu assignment for the Italian mobile version as shown in the provided screenshot.
4. For the missing HOME menu item, it should be added manually via https://bau24.ad-passion.it/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?menu=26&lang=it.
5. The issue with the font size is likely controlled by the theme options, and we suggested checking how the mobile menu is styled within those settings.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to copy the mobile menu from the German (DE) version to the Italian (IT) version, including font size and settings like icons. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The mobile menu in the Italian version has the wrong font size, missing icons, and a missing HOME link.

Questions:
How can I ensure the mobile menu settings are copied correctly from DE to IT?
Why are the font size, icons, and HOME link not appearing as expected in the IT version?

Thanks for contacting us. I need to check how the navigation menu is created. I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your reply.

I've checked and I can see the missing arrows in the Italian language mobile menu as shown in this screen recording hidden link . Could you please edit this menu in WP > Design > Menu > Switch to Italian using the language switcher and translate it hidden link .

Let me know how it goes.

Yes I suppose that this manual job will work.
I am not using a plugin like WPML to doing it manually, but I hoped to get that automatically. Hopy ou understand. If tomorrow the clients likes dots instead of arrows i have to do it again
And this still does not resolve in IT
– why HOME is not shown
– why the font is bigger

I thing that the better way is to make it automatically using one of the custom or system fields in WPML > settings. I did this for theme specific page settings, so I suppose for theme specific menu settings it will work in the same way… BUT which one I have to click?

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, translating a navigation menu does not work the same way as translating a page or post. There is no option to copy the mega menu items options directly. You will need to use one of the methods described here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/#translate-menus-different-per-language

I used the "Translating Menus That Appear Different in Each Language" method to resolve the issue you encountered.

For the missing Home menu item, you can add it manually here:
hidden link

Regarding the font size, it appears the styling is controlled in the theme options. Could you check how the mobile menu is created?

Hi Kor, yes I know how to translate a menu, did it over 30 times.
The font size in DE is correct, but not on IT, handled by wpml

sure that there are no menu settings to copy/copy once/translate?

Sorry for writing again. I discovered the problem, the sync is wrong
In IT on mobile it shows the deskop menu, not the mobile menu
I added an icon on the IT mobile menu and nothing happens, so I addes an icon on the desktop menu… and I can see it also on mobile
= in DE I have desktop menu for desktop and mobile menu for mobile
= in IT I have desktop menu for desktop and desktop menu for mobile

why that?

Hi Kor,

thank you for the help. This was a stupid mistake, sorry for that. I thought that Betheme does assign them automatically.
So I just need to resolve the font size problem and to insert all icons manually.
Maybe tell to devs if in the future that settings could be copied trough languages.
