This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with variation thumbnails not displaying correctly on the Croatian (HR) version of their WordPress site, despite working fine on the original Slovenian (SI) version. The client is using the Product Gallery Slider for WooCommerce plugin and has been manually adding each variation for the Croatian language.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to ensure that variation images are correctly copied to the translated versions of the products:
1. Navigate to WPML > Settings and locate the Custom Field Translation section.
2. Click on the Show system fields link.
3. Search for the

wavi_value

field in the Custom Field Translation section.
4. If found, set the translation preference for this field to 'Copy'.
5. Save the changes and clear the cache on both your site and browser.
6. Make a minor edit to the product title of a default product and save the changes.
7. Update the translation and check if the issue is resolved.

If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems irrelevant due to updates or different circumstances, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hi,

thanks for contacting us.

I can actually see the correct thumbnails on the Croatian page (see screenshot).
If you still can't see them please try to clear your browser's cache.

Yes, cause I'm manually changing it one by one for each product.

I'm using Product Gallery Slider for WooCommerce which seems to be not copying images over to translation.

Now I'm manually adding each variation for croatian language. Is there a way to make this not manual cause I have lots more of languages to come?

Hello There.

Thank you for the update! I've taken over this ticket and will try my best to assist you in this matter.

Since you mentioned that the variation images are being added using the "Product Gallery Slider for WooCommerce" plugin, I installed the plugin to investigate how it stores image information. Upon review, I found that the image IDs are stored in an array within a field named `wavi_value`. Setting the translation preference for this field to "Copy" should ensure that the image IDs are copied to the translated product as well.

Please try the following steps to see if they help resolve the issue:

1. Go to "WPML > Settings" and scroll to the "Custom Field Translation" section.
2. Click on the "Show system fields" link.
3. Once the page refreshes, enter wavi_value in the search box within the Custom Field Translation section.
4. If the field appears in the search results, set its translation preference to 'Copy'.
5. Save the changes and clear the cache from both your site and browser.
6. After that, open a default product and make a small change to the product title.
7. Save the changes and update the translation.

I hope the steps above will help in solving the issue. Feel free to let me know if you need further assistance or clarification. I'll be happy to assist.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
